Boggy Hole features attractive and lively vernal pools, mostly flat terrain and a connection to the town-owned Champlain North Open Space for those wishing to extend their hike. One may also find historic wagon trails and plenty of stone walls.
As the name Boggy Hole implies, many of the trails can be quite wet. One should be prepared for mud and bugs and consider skipping sections after spring melt off or significant rain.
A typical Boggy Hole!
